We’ve talked about Tails To Teach previously; it is the wonderful organization that goes into schools, bringing dogs into the classroom, enabling kids to be empowered by the unconditional love provided by the dogs. Tails To Teach (TTT) is looking to expand their services, to help people who’ve experienced something tragic in their lives ( survivors of shootings or natural disasters, to help first responders deal with the emotional impact of their jobs.) It doesn’t matter if you are retired, or if your only free time is on the weekends. If you have a dog who loves people or if your dog is a great source of emotional comfort, TTT might be the place for you.
An informational meeting is being held March 8,2014 at the East Greenwich Free Library at 10 a.m. Clear your calendar and come to the library for a great cup of coffee and learn more about the chance to help.
